Web Developer/Designer looking for work
I've not yet had the pleasure of attending a Tokyo 2.0 event but will be attending the Tokyo CGM Night next week. I arrived in Japan about 3 months ago and I'm looking for web-related work here in Tokyo. Ideally I'd like to be part of a team in a full-time position but I will also accept freelance positions.
I am passionate about building websites, online communities/social media and usability. I am continuously improving my skills which include HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and Ruby on Rails. I am experienced with Adobe Photoshop, MySQL, Apache and have built and managed my own Windows and Linux servers.
My recent design and development work can be seen at http://www.nihongonotes.com which is my personal blog running on Wordpress with several customizations and http://jpopjapan.com a Japanese music news site built using Ruby on Rails. I also recently redesigned http://japansoc.com
